Use to be able to use the land line number
Every time I try to use the dial from land line number I end up getting a “sorry this number is disconnected” or someone will answer and say “I’m sorry you have the wrong number” and hang up on me??? I haven’t yet tried the app but they changed so many things around in the past month that I don’t even know if it’s WORTH DOWNLOADING THE APP AND USING IT!!
This app was a game changer!
I noticed all of the negative reviews on this app and had to chime in. I’ve been using it for at least a couple of years now and it has truly changed my life. There are so many occasions when I need to just convey information but don’t want to get tied up in a long conversation with someone. I also can call to let someone know I’m just thinking about them, or give them an encouraging word, without getting hung up in a conversation. It has been a great timesaver for me. I use it on a very regular basis. The free version does have annoying ads, but that’s why it’s free. I very quickly changed to the premium version and it’s worth every penny for me. When I got my iPhone X I did have a glitch and simply removed the app from my phone, then reinstalled it. The problem was solved.
The app is too glitchy on my iPhone X. I expected it to work, not be tasked with trying to figure out why it DOESN’T work. Instead, after I dial the number (a valid mobile phone number, and I tried a few), there's a long pause, it thanks me for using Slydial, and then after another pause it tells me to enter a valid mobile phone number. When I try to re-dial the already valid mobile number, the app disconnects the call. Either it works or it doesn't and I'm not wasting time trying to make it work. And from what I’ve read about customer service, no thanks. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Cancelled plan and moved on.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
