Smart Connect Fishing provides anglers with problem solving tools and unique features to enhance the fishing experience. There is a utility, for example, that allows you to photograph your catch for species recognition and creel database limits and links to such limits at your current location.
You can also use the app to:
* Pin your favorite fishing spots and return to them by GPS.
* Check weather conditions and forecasts with temperature, wind speed, and barometric pressure.
* Edit photos of your catch and share them.
* Connect and monitor Bite Alert features of Smart Connect Bluetooth fishing reels.
If you own a Smart Connect Fishing Reel, this app is also a powerful way to link, monitor and control up to four Smart Connect spinning fishing reels simultaneously on your iPhone using BLE technology. You can customize your sensitivity and various sound alerts for each reel. You can also choose whether you want sound, vibration, light, and/or notifications to alert you when there is a strike. The app also monitors the remaining power in the rechargeable battery in each device.

Won’t log-in
I’m sure this app is great but the app won’t log- in. Doesn’t get past the register screen to make an account.
What a great product
I picked up my product at Walmart and downloaded the app. So easy to use and understand. I like that it lets me manage the bite alert. I bought a second unit for my son and it lets me monitor his pole at the same time as mine on my phone. When we started getting bites it was easy to tell who’s pole was getting the action. I was getting my son a snack when the alert went off on my phone. Notification popped up that my son’s pole had a bite. He managed to catch a nice 5 pound catfish. This app is extremely intuitive and useful.
The App does work
I was able to create an account just fine in 2023. I think the issue may be that you have to tap REGISTER, then you enter the email and password you want. Do not do that on the login screen and then hit register. Just FYI. Was able to get to the page for my state to get a fishing license just fine.
