How To Set Alarm

I am writing this review as a hope the developers will address this bug, but also if you are here looking for answers.
It took me some time, but I figured out how to get the alarm going.
1 - Create the alarm.
2 - Set the time.
3 - Save the alarm.
Great, now every time you make one modification, the alarm time should revert back to like 23:47.
You can change the alarm time again, but every time you enter the alarm settings, the time will revert back.
You can always make your changes and change the time last.
Also, the keep warm function doesn’t work.

Terrible app, great kettle

I never write reviews, but this app is so terrible that I was compelled to. The only thing you can count on this app for us in r demand boiling. You're supposed to be able to set "home mode" with instructions on how hot to heat water and how long to keep it warm, but your settings reset every time you use the app so you can't rely on it.

The user interface is really bad and doing anything is a big effort with a steep learning curve. You're also supposed to be able to add authorized users who can also control the kettle, but this functionality is broken. Don't even bother trying; just sign yourself into any other devices you want to control the kettle.

They need to hire some skilled developers and UI/UX people to fix this ASAP. They're the best right now because they don't have a lot of competition in this space, but that will change.

Frustrating setup but cool gadget

Once you get over the set up hurtles it’s a pretty cool app. Search in the App Store for iKettle yielded no results. There were no links to the app on their website that I could find. So I typed in the address for the app listed in the set up instructions included in the box. This led me to a 404 page. The instructions in both the app and the included documentation don’t make clear that the blinking light you’re looking for at the beginning of the process to sync it is on the bottom of the charger base (that info is listed on the following step). You have to manually type the SSID instead of being able to just click on it like most devices. Another issue that I’m having is I have not been able to find a way to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Calibrating the water level failed the first three times. All of these issues led to a very frustrating set up process. After that though it’s pretty remarkable to be able to turn the kettle on before I get out of bed. Great product and app but the set up process and documentation need to be refined.
