I had to get it bc pebble told me to

Pebble and this would be great but disconnect from the watch 20-25% of the time. That number is down from 50% - got a new iPhone and new watch directly from customer support to address the dropping issue. It’s not Bluetooth or Verizon that drops just watch to apps.
Working 75% of the time is better than 0. And it has caught some seizures and alerted family/tracked etc properly.
The sensitivity level takes getting used to, which you can adjust - but you’ll get it. Kept setting off alarms when I washed my hands or rolled during the night... so you adjust it.
Overall, it’s better than NOTHING. It’s caught and alerted people of issues, where I’d otherwise be alone but the DROPPING IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING (and it’s not a hardware issue).
Sadly this kind of dropping is still less than many others out there. We will most likely be going to an older model Apple Watch with a small data plan - one ONLY for this purpose as the pricing is about the same. If it worked perfectly it’d be 5 stars and customer service is very nice and WELL AWARE that their company has less than perfect products.

Great if you can ever get it to connect

A fairly decent app although I found it would constantly drop the Bluetooth connection in the middle of the night. Worst still it would appear to work fine as I was going to bed and for the next couple of minutes after that, just would wake up the next morning and find it disconnected.

’m a tech guy so normally I can fix these types of issues but unfortunately it seems that their product doesn’t work well with Apple’s new policy of killing backgrounder apps unless they are assigned special permissions. Unfortunately this is a developer error and appears to be something that has not yet been fixed properly.

Oh and for those interested, the app works by buying a subscription to SmartMonitor and is tied to a specific device ID. Loose the device? Well then your going to have to call up the help desk cause your going to need them to change the device ID associated with your account AND get a new activation code (be sure to ask for the new activation code cause they frequently forget to send the new one)

In summary, after several weeks of back and forth with trying to install new versions and call support I’ve unfortunately haven to given up on this product.

I went with SeizAlarm instead and got myself an Apple Watch to go with it. The price for the watch may be more but SeizAlarm’s subscription at 145 USD per year is a lot less than SmartMonitor’s subscription and the watch doesn’t disconnect all the time.
