Ratings and Reviews
Lagging thus inaccurate and not dependable
Cool app in concept. Simple no frills app that (if) it were pulling water level data from a reliable updated source, then the notification feature would be helpful (but) my bridge is another foot under water this morning and the same water level as yesterday is posted on this app. Too bad. Otherwise if water level were updated constantly, this app would be (very) useful to manage cable tensions.
Unreliable
The water level consistently differs from lakesonline data. It rained 4 inches, and I could visibly see a considerable increase in water level with no change on the app. I’m not sure where the data is being sourced, but I’m fairly sure it is lagging or otherwise inaccurate. A foot is considerable when you’re talking lake water level.
Useless
Had the old Power Company lake level app for years and it was great. After they updated it died. So I get this pig. Won’t update, unreliable and not worth the price of free. Will be removed when I finish typing.
