I was very hesitant about this app. Thinking, how crazy is this, an app is going to make me stop smoking. My husband and I were sitting on the front porch one night and I was smoking my last cigarette in the pack ( I had found this app the night before and download it). I said honey I’m done smoking tonight. Don’t ask me if I want any more cigarettes. Don’t ask me how my progress is coming along don’t ask me anything about smoking and please don’t smoke around me. I climbed in the bed that night said a prayer and started the app and fell asleep. The next morning I woke up I had a cup of coffee, I didn’t have a craving for cigarette. I ate breakfast I didn’t have a craving for a cigarette. I drove to work I didn’t have a crazy I took my lunch break I didn’t have a craving and the crazy thing I was able to tell people the same day I won’t have any cravings for cigarette. Now the smell of cigarette make me nauseous now. I have come across all of my triggers for smoking and I do not crave a cigarette. I’ve even lost track of the days that I have been without a cigarette. It just feels natural and I may have downloaded this app a month ago. this is one of the most amazing apps, and I will gladly tell anyone about my story! Thank you.

First Session, cutting down

This is the second stop smoking app I’ve tried. I liked my first one, but lost it when I transferred to a new phone & couldn’t find it again on the App Store. I found this one & REALLY enjoyed my first session. I like that I get various options as far as male or female voice, music, and others. Looking forward to trying the others.

Cant comment on how effective but interface is difficult

So I am on my first day so I can’t say how effective it is but I can say the actual interface is difficult. Whoever the app designers were didn’t take into account how hard the colors would be to see against the background. There is also not an option to change the background or color scheme so you have to guess at what you are doing. Lastly, the music plays as soon as you open the app. This isn’t always convenient. If you are laying down in bed and your partner is already in bed, the music starting can be very jarring for them if you don’t have your headphones set up.
This has the potential to be a beautifully executed app if the developers gave the users a little bit more control and ability to personalize the experience.
