This application needs Smufs external bluetooth fingerprint scanning accessory sold by Smufs Biometric Solutions. This is a fingerprint scanning application that will only work when an accessory is connected to iOS device through bluetooth. Please do not download this application unless you have already purchased the Smufs Bluetooth fingerprint device.
The Smufs BTWSQ Fingerprint scanner accessory is approved for use with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The Smufs BTWSQ accessory contains an FBI approved fingerprint scanner that provides FIPS-201 and PIV certified fingerprint images to an iOS device. These are REAL fingerprint images that meet the highest standards of law enforcement and commercial identification.

No option to save or enroll print
Developer needs to update app, there is no option for enrollment of fingerprints or to save the print
Pretty much useless…
I downloaded the app so that I could use the office’s scanner that another co-worker was using to capture finger prints. It worked well on her android phone, however, not so much in my iPhone. It connected and scans decent enough, but it won’t give me an option to save the scans anywhere let alone put them into a jpeg or pdf format for me. I can’t use this device because the app won’t allow me to save the images.
