I’ve been using Smule for a while now and it just keeps getting better. The new pitch shifting helps me adjust songs for my range and I love how I can join other people’s performances for free. I recently upgraded to VIP so I could record more solos and start duets for other people to join! The song catalog is massive and I’ve even uploaded a few of my own tracks. Everyone on the app is super nice and supportive. It actually feels like I’m singing with real people. I LOVE smule!

In a world full of singing apps, Smule stands out because of its community. The internet can be a toxic place, but somehow this corner remains positive. For the most part, everyone is welcoming and supporting, which fosters an environment that lets budding singers come ‘out of their shell’. And there are lots of artists on the app using it like the rest of us, which is a cool duet feature.
Honestly, Smule is an amazing app and I no doubt use it almost every day but the feature of having 100 showcases and then all your recordings being hidden once you reach the limit is all so people can buy VIP. I wish this feature wasn’t included because not everyone wants or can afford to buy extra features. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app!
I’ve had this app for a couple of years now. It really satiates my singing cravings without having to people if I don’t want to. However, most song tracks lately, I can sing on time during the recording but when I’m listening to the playback, the lyrics are off by a microbeat or something. I’m hoping this can be remedied or maybe it’s something on my end!

Try using wired headphones while recording, as this often helps with sync. I’ve been a VIP for more than 5 years now. I love to sing. And as a VIP, I can sing solo or duet, and can pick the songs that I want. Also, as a VIP, I can upload the songs that are not yet on Smule. Here’s a suggestion: pay your subscription using the desktop not using the mobile app. You’ll save a lot.

Awesome app. Great music, options, and freedom to create. Also LOVE the way the tech is designed to make it the best and most professional artistry experience in a platform! Would love Live to work a lot better! It doesn’t fully sync in timing which makes it impossible to sing together live! It’s an awesome idea and community builder— it’s out of sync and volume adjusting does not help—Please fix it!
