Description

Snapshots that never leave your sight (until closed), complete with annotations, simple URL sharing or encrypted with self destruct - everything neatly organised in your library and synced across your devices.

“I use it all the time, especially when I am writing about something that is time sensitive or has a complex date” - Tuaw.com

- Snap -
Snap something on your screen so you can easily reference. The snap is always on top so you can focus on the content.

- Annotate -
Brush, text, shapes and more. Using annotations you can highlight what is important and take notes right on the snap.

- Share -
Send a URL of your snap to anyone via Snappy Link. You can even encrypt it with a password and set a self destruct timer.

- Organize & Sync -
The Snaps Library keeps track of your snaps on all your devices - as long as iCloud / Cloud Drive is enabled of course.

- Slack Ready -
Sending snapshots to Slack has never been easier. Simply connect your Slack account and you're ready to go.

- Share More -
Make sure to check all the other sharing options we have: Email, Facebook, Twitter, Imgur, Pinterest, Dropbox and Evernote.

Used to be perfect, BUT bugs now

This used to be perfect - especially when they introduced annotations with arrows, rectangles, etc. So simple. Not bloated like other tools. However, now there are multiple issues that make it almost unusable for annotations. 1) making any annotation adds like 500 annotations 2) the screenshot just show black after making annotations.

I'm downloading an alternative, but if those issues ever get fixed would definitely switch back.

Please update, this program is still relevant

I prefer the way Snappy works compared to the normal Mac Snapshot. I've had a lot of users ask me "how'd you do that" when I used Snappy to quickly take a small snapshot of fields on my desktop then drag them slightly to the side as a reference. About a year ago, it stopped working when the focus wasn't on a certain screen, it returned a black box and then with the most recent Big Sur update, it started always showing a black box when I attempt to use it. If you start supporting this again, I'd know of about 12 users right off the bat who would gladly fork over the cost for this.

The most useful tool on my computer

I used Snappy through college and continue to use it for work, art and everything in between. This app is indispensable. I use it for having work requests ready and available for easy reference (great when working in full-screen apps). I use it for working on art pieces, having the image as reference, and so many other ways. I use it for checking off tasks. It's so useful. And in all the years that I've had it, I've never had a single problem. Get it, you won't regret it.
