I have posted only a handful of reviews in 10 years, usually prompted by a developer I bothered with an odd request. This is the first time that I'm taking the initiative. This application is revolutionary! Once I set up my search engines and created their individual keyboard shortcuts (option G for Google, option W for Wikipedia, and so on with Images, Spotify, ChatAI, Imdb, Thesaurus, etc), I couldn't believe what it was able to do. I just highlighted the first word I came across and I got an instant result from each of these engines in a separate tab. And all of this on top of everything I was already doing without changing desktop or touching my default browser—no distractions, no opening multiple websites for the same query, just unbelievable. But again: you have to play with the settings, truly customize it before you can use it or you’ll be disappointed. (It gets even more interesting when you integrate those shortcuts with apps like PopClip or anything that can customize trackpad and mouse gestures.) The free version has everything; an invitation to go pro appears every 50 searches and goes away with a click—very easy and generous indeed. That's perhaps my only regret: I wish I had gotten a little extra (but what?) for $5.99. But, hey, I'm thrilled with this app, and I know it will be useful a million times like nothing I've ever used for years to come. I write this out of selfishness: I don’t want this app to be overlooked, to suffer from lack of updates or, worse, disappear from the store. A great job should be known and rewarded.
