Level 1 - Just on the surface you will find all the familiar game sounds/music that will ring that nostalgic bell in your head and bring a childish smile to your face.
Level 2 - For anyone looking to make quality chiptune music, this has all the bells and whistles you will need from a vast library of presets to the super easy UI allowing you to make your own.
Boss level - If you're like me and want to go beyond chiptune, this also has enough sauce and spice to give you a everything from sizzling atmospherics to psychedelic leads!
So much 16-bit fun!
Another reviewer said it so well: You can start with the over 400 presets, or you can take your sounds to the next level in programming your own sounds! The sounds included are so retro, as found in 1980s video games, but in 2024, one can make these sounds into stereo pans, plus reverb, delay… the possibilities are seemingly endless! Color me impressed
I don’t make video game sounding music and while I like chip tunes, I don’t make any myself. Despite this I went ahead and bought this app without hearing any samples because I loved all the audio kit apps so far and I like their new direction or mixing romplers with samplers.
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. There’s such a wide variety of sounds you can make with this, and tweaking presets is a great time. This synth is for any type or beat maker and I highly recommend it!
