• Stamps are now sorted alphabetically, making them easier to find. • You can view letters and elements separately in the Stamp tab. • You can now assign a letter to a piece even if you saved it without one. • Remove the letter and save, and the piece will move to Elements. • The letter language now follows your device language. If you selected a language manually in Settings, it stays unchanged.

Here's what changed. • Open the app and start right from the library. Pick from your album or take a photo now — either one gets you going. • Put a piece on the canvas right after you save it. The save screen now has "Add to canvas". • Fixed two crashes on iOS 17: one when importing a file that isn't a SNIP backup, and one while cropping a piece or selecting one on the canvas.

• You can now create a new category while saving. No need to go to the Library. (Pro) • Fixed an incorrect translation in the category selection menu.

What’s New in This Update • Introducing SNIP Pro. With a one-time purchase, you’ll unlock every stamp style, unlimited canvases, photos on canvases, custom background colors, and your own categories. Cutting out text, collecting pieces, and basic stamps will remain free. • You can now create multiple canvases and organize them into groups. Create up to three for free, or as many as you like with SNIP Pro. • We further reduced the issue that could cause your device to get warm during longer sessions. • We reorganized Settings and added anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app. You can turn this off anytime in Settings.

• You can now view the date and location where each piece was captured in your collection. This information is available only for pieces captured after this update. Location is stored on your device as a regional name only if you grant location permission. • A celebratory animation now appears when you save a piece. • We’ve reduced device heating during extended use and improved text recognition speed.

Improved the overall accuracy of text and pattern extraction.

• You can now lock pieces on the canvas. Lock a piece once it's where you want it, and it won't budge while you move the others. • Fixed buttons that didn't respond on the first tap. • Fixed small glitches where parts of the screen overlapped.

• Improved text extraction. Letters on multicolored or textured backgrounds, such as tiles, are now recognized more accurately. * Set a target word or phrase to collect. A progress row appears at the top of your library and fills as you collect letters. Once complete, you’ll be taken straight to the canvas. * The letter you need to find is now shown on the collection screen. * Added Undo and Redo to the canvas. Even clearing the canvas can now be undone. * Select and place multiple pieces on the canvas at once. * Choose between a white or black canvas background. * Export and import your library as a file. Export it before switching devices, then import it on your new device. * Reduced sticker storage size to one-tenth.

Saving and Sharing ▪ Saving from the canvas now adds your finished sticker to both your library and the Photos app at once. ▪ Copy and paste a cutout to keep its background transparent. ▪ Saving individual cutouts to Photos has been removed to prevent other apps from turning transparent backgrounds white. Finished stickers can still be saved to Photos as before. More Accurate Letter Cutouts ▪ Letters with holes, such as O and B, now keep their open spaces when cut out. ▪ If part of a handwritten letter is missing, press and hold that area to add it. ▪ White letters with dark outlines are now detected correctly instead of selecting the background. ▪ Pressing around an existing cutout again no longer turns the result inside out. ▪ Japanese and Chinese characters are saved only after you finish typing the complete character. Easier Refinements ▪ Press and hold an unwanted color or fragment to remove it from your letter. ▪ The eraser now works on both automatically detected letters and areas outlined by hand. ▪ If you erase everything while the eraser is active, the eraser automatically turns off. Other Improvements ▪ Library tab order and the primary language now follow your device language. ▪ When a letter cannot be detected, SNIP tells you what to try next.
