Snippets biggest update yet is here, full of requested features.

We’ve added a basic menu bar item that lets you search for Snippets. Just enable the menu bar item from the settings screen and you’ll be able to drag and drop your snippets without the main app open. 

Lots of bugs have been fixed with the primary list, including stopping tags jumping around, and making sure the animations play nicely.

You can now quickly filter your list of snippets.  You can now enable seeing your notes at the top of the snippet page. Just tap the note button in the top toolbar, and your notes will show above your segments.   Got ideas, suggestions, or bugs? Email me and I’ll take a look for you!

Amazing tool for students

I'm currently taking a programming class at my uni, and I can't tell you how convenient it is to be able to save templates of functioncs and loops to implement into a project, or even just refer back to. Amazing app!

Excellent app, improvement suggestion

the developer did a great job with the app and its interface. everything works and syncs to all other devices without an issue.

the only reason why i didnt give this a 5 star rating is because of the navigation/editing snippets.
when you're trying to add tags, you have to open the snippet, select the tags, make your selection then back out the selection - instead of just typing in the pre existing ones. it's cumbersome and tidious at times.

when trying to drag a snippet to a folder - it doesnt work. you have to rt click and then "add to folder" -- please add this ability!

when adding a snippet, there's no input field- just copy from clipboard. that feature is great but the TextFieldUI needs to be there so a user can make final edits before saving.

the app is very clever, i can literally see how it was created in Xcode. splitnavigationview, TableViewUI, etc... great job otherwise

So where are the instructions?

I have no clue how it works. Please, some in-app help or a website to consult. Thanks. Rating 3 stars, as it’s probably good, but I wouldn’t know.

The app is for developers who just want to store their code snippets somewhere for easy access, where they’ll be sync’d up to the cloud.

It’s a super simple app so there’s no instructions inside it, as we talked about on email this app won’t write code for you - I’d recommend checking out some of the excellent free learning resources out there!
