The product works very well and is much easier to deal with than dealing with the IDPF EpubChek program (on which it is based) directly, still less the online services that can have availability issues and file size limits.So, feedback. The feedback is a list of errors. For each error, there is a file name (such as "nav.xhtml", a line number in the file, and a character offset within that line. There is also a short text message explaining the problem, such as:"The element type "a" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</a>"."There is also a panel in the error window showing the file with the error highlighted.This is all great stuff, but you DO need a basic understanding of the structure of the various files that make up an ePub, and a willingness to search online for things you don't understand. The ePub format can be a little complicated/fussy, but that isn't the fault of this program, which does its job (validation) extremely well.

It is pretty easy to run the ePub check, but the feedback on the file is not clear. It seems you need to have coding experinece or something similar to make sense of the feedback. Definitely not workth $24.95 unless you have coding experince. If you have coding experience, there are plenty of free opitons online for this, so no need for this.
