By far the most secure, private browser available. Light years better than any of the others. Just wish it could be available on other platforms. Thanks SnowHaze for making a truly legit privacy & security focused browser that benefits the consumer. Period.

  • The best privacy browser for iOS

    GizmoGurk

This is the best privacy browser I have found for iOS, and it is now my default browser. The granularity with which you can control the settings and throughtful additions like detection of potential tracking parameters on URLs, per-tab settings, changeable browser agents and "hints" at which settings are most secure by the shade of green displayed in the setup make it head and shoulders above the others. Some users may find the customizability a little daunting at first, but you can always start with the defaults and make incremental tweaks. Personally, I like to disable JavaScript, then only allow it on a one-time basis for most sites if required. That said, there are a few irritations, but these can be found on some other privacy browsers as well: - No way to see which bad elements/trackers are on what page. The total is tracked, but I'd like to see which sites are using which trackers. - Lack of a way to organize bookmarks - they end up in a big pile. - You have to wait untils crolling stops to long-press and go into tab actions. Short press on the icon doesn't have the same problem. This browser has a permanent place on my phone, hopefully it will continue to be maintained for a long time to come!

  • As good as DuckDuckGo, but more technical

Love it. The privacy benefits here have more potential then DuckDuckGo, Firefox Focus, or Brave. The settings are expansive compared to them. It can occasionally break websites mildly and the stricter your settings the worse that’ll get, kinda annoying how I can’t toggle individual scripts like uBlock Origin or NoScript can. I say use this and if a site does break just open it up in a backup browser instead of toggling settings. The UI is really polished and I can’t stand how DuckDuckGo displays tabs as tiny squares with the “X” in the corner, but larger tabs in a file stack where you can just swipe is so much nicer, thank you Devs. It can also mask previews while switching focus between apps, which should be a default for privacy browsers. You can also click the three dots in the tabs display to open a new tab with Night Mode, which is a feature I haven’t really seen in other privacy browsers.Really love the direction this is going, just please allow individual script toggling from the URL badge or at least make “Trusting” a site fully override privacy settings like blocking third party scripts, image, etc.

  • THANK YOU the best browser!!!

    ggnorenoobs

It gives me the most versatility, features, and usability among all browsers on iOS. I've used and tried out every one out there, paid and free, and this one really proves itself. Security, privacy, and ad blocking are all included FREE. It took me forever to find a browser like this, probably because it's been hidden, shadowbanned, demoted, and censored by search algorithms. Really stands out as the best browser by far and would pay for this app if it was for purchase. However, I think I'd be able to help with minor changes and updates if I got the chance to. Bookmarks do need a little help, and please add a desktop user agent option toggle to the page specific options in the top left corner, and also in the user agent settings. Yes, it takes time to develop additional features, but really would help if some were paid upgrades, I would pay for them. From a business angle, hiring new developers for paid features and add ons would be wise. Crowdfunding would be effective for both raising capital and also for grassroots marketing. You guys are on the right track, THANK YOU!!!

  • Terrific app, excellent support

I'm updating an earlier review which noted problems with iOS 9 devices. Everything is now working on all my devices, iOS 9, 10 and 11! I don't know if it was just a temporary glitch or what, but I must say that their support system is excellent. In less than 24 hours of emailing them with my problem I received a concerned response from them. The browser had started working again on my iOS 9 iPad 3 for no a apparent reason but was still not functional on my iOS 10+ iPad 4. Support walked me through several problem-solving steps, and the problem was isolated to the Warnings setting. I ultimately had to delete and reinstall the app and copy the settings I'd made on the iPad 3. All Warnings had to be turned off. Throughout, Support was very helpful, polite, and not once treated me like is was a know-nothing newbie (which I'm not - that's a major no-no for support people, as far as I'm concerned). Now Snowhaze is working beautifully on my iOS 9 iPad 3, iPad 4, and iOS 11 iPhone 6s. Amazingly, this is a free app.

  • Excellent Privacy Browser!

Easy to use, and very clearly a high privacy browser. For the average person seeking privacy and online security using iOS, SnowHaze is up with the best. For the advanced user, all the extra security and privacy functions that can be easily enabled. On a similar level of Firefox Focus Block ADs, trackers, JavaScript and use HTTPS as a primary choice. All good. Similar UI interface (settings) as Safari. Also, a long list of choices of search engines. My regular go to is StartPage. Keep up the great work!Cheers!
