App features needs to be updated

My biggest issue is that the sleep graph is horrible, it is hard to read what times everything takes place. I feel like it should be a simple update to make but don't know why it hasn't been done. I can't imagine annoying liking how that feature is displayed m. My other huge issue is how little range this has. My house is 1400sq ft and I lose e range/ connection from her room to mine which means this product is useless once I transfer her to her own room. I still like the product however I feel like there's some room for improvement.

So much potential... virtually no technical ability

Latest version crashes on startup...

The Snuza is a nice piece of hardware. It gives my wife and me some additional peace at night. However, this thing has some major flaws from a software perspective. Basically, the data is only kept on a single device that must be close to the child. If not close (20 ft), the mobile app is worthless. This is clear flaw in their design to require Bluetooth for app to connect to internet. The data only stays on one device. Second, the data in the app is really hard to digest and use. You also only get 3 days of data. So, it’s hard to see details of sleep patterns and them impossible to compare them to the previous week. Third, the app crashes nonstop sometimes after updates. The app still has terrible performance even when it is stable enough to load most of the time.

I find the snuza to be something that is almost there but it’s clear this version (snuza pico) has a long way to go. I will start exploring other options.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the feedback.

We understand the frustration you are experiencing and would like to apologise with this. The decision to use Low energy Bluetooth was based on RFI exposure - this is safe for your little one to use.

We are busy developing a range extender which will assist with the connection, however, we only expect this to be ready next year. We are also feverishly working on the app to ensure the best possible user experience.

Poor functionality

I loved the Snuza hero and figured this upgrade would be amazing and comparable to the Owlet. Sadly disappointed however, the Bluetooth has such limited range, even in the same room it will alert to lost signal. App could deliver so much more but is super basic in the end. Besides the temperature monitoring I would be happy to go back to the Snuza Hero since there such a limited upgrade here. Wanted to love this product but I just don’t, The owlet is definitely a superior product. Even though this is more portable and ‘sock free’ the technology here is too basic to compete with other monitors. (P.s I also have the angel care monitor which we rarely use, so I have a good base for comparison).
