The Social Cookbook was built to be the destination for those who would like to save and share their favorite recipes with friends, family, and coworkers.
Whether we plan out a holiday meal, a meal for our friends when they visit; or just want to make something for dinner tonight, "Food will always be at the center of our lives." This app is built for those who want to make the art of cooking social.

Not intuitive/user friendly
You can only import recipes from a handful of recipe websites they have listed in a drop down menu. If you try to add a URL from a website not listed, it says the link doesn’t work and to try again. Additionally, every page I went to in my app after trying to add that recipe had the same error message and took me back to the import page even though I was trying to move on and use other features. The first two pictures I tried to use as my profile picture uploaded sideways and there’s no way to edit that. I had to just keep trying pictures until one worked. In general the technology feels a little outdated (multiple things were slow to respond). I was excited because I’m specifically looking for a recipe sharing app where you can share with a specific group and this offered that. But after having so many issues while trying to test it out, I will not be using this for my group.
