SocialPanel brings completely new experience to access your favorite social networks from your desktop.
SocialPanel stays hidden from your desktop without disturbing your work and fades in or out when you move your mouse to the very right side of the screen (excluding the corners so you can use the OS X hot-corner shortcuts).
When shown, SocialPanel is placed over all windows (including the menu bar) so you can have complete focus on your social activity.
SocialPanel has 4 main visual modes.
- mobile mode panel
- desktop mode panel
- full screen desktop mode
- menubar popup
It also supports the following social networks:
- Google Plus
SocialPanel supports file upload, opening links to external browser, back to top feature and more.
Bring your social experience to the next level!

Pick a lane!
I have 3 monitors. Plenty of screen estate. Really I just want something to load up my social media sites without having to keep a tab open on my broswer chewing up broswer memory. This? I constantly have to scroll side to side (LinkedIn doesn't like to size down for it) and it randomly decides to just sit in the very middle of the screen. Useless. Removed.
It works, but it doesn’t
If you are looking for a way to see your facebook feed constantly, this is the app for you. It’s a simple download and have a mini window/panel for the feed whenever your mouse goes to the right of the screen.
That’s the problem - my mouse does go to the right of the screen, and then this panel pops up. It is incredibly distracting trying to do work without having this thing pop up. I suggest that the app developer add additional ways to gesture the panel in.
My version had this terrible bar that says: DiskKepper - the latest echnology to keep your Mac fast and reliable. Download. This is really distracting, and for a paid $.99 app, I am surprised to see this here.
I got it for free, so I am simply writing my review for the app devs. Overall, it works - it’s a no fuss fb/twitter/other feed. If the issues were addressed and perhaps there is a way to swap between the different services seamlessly. It’s kind of messy to have to choose it from a drop down, when you can have all the services as a cascading bar.
Best of luck.
It really is a completely new social networking experience! Full-screen interruptions! HURRAY!
You know what I desperately want more than anything when using a social network aggregator? Full-screen advertisements for the other software this developer is selling in the App Store. Finally, a way to use Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn with even more invasive and disruptive ads — it's like my dreams have come true and I didn't just get mugged for 99 cents at all. Thank you for showing me large advertisements for software I will now be in a huge rush to purchase, because I love snake oil and find it delicious.
Still the same old shenangians with this release.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
