“Never feels like a chore”
Most of the apps we use today are designed for work. Sofa is one of the few productivity apps intentionally intended for play.

• Easy Search
• Throw it on The Pile
• Add almost anything

KEEP THINGS TIDY
Keeping things tidy shouldn’t ever feel like a chore. Sofa provides many ways to organize your downtime.

• Lists & Groups
• Log your activity
• Activity stats & filters

YOUR OWN PERSONAL GUIDE

• Just enough detail
• Prioritize with The Shelf
• Remind yourself with Sticky Notes

MORE ORGANIZED THAN A NOTES APP

REMIND YOURSELF WITH A STICKY

KEEP A LOG OF YOUR ACTIVITY
A historical view of the things you’ve watched, read and played. Upgrade to Super Sofa for the ability to filter and see stats.

PRIORITIZE WITH THE SHELF
Similar to pinning, prioritize items in your lists and see them aggregated together. This is great for figuring out what you want to watch, read, play, etc.

JUST ENOUGH DETAIL
Get the synopsis of a book or release date for a movie—just enough detail, nothing more. Upgrade to Super Sofa for helpful detail links.

SHORTCUTS
Use Shortcuts to access your Sofa data to power some nerdy and fun workflows.

AN APP YOU CAN TRUST
Your data is completely private and secure. We intentionally can’t see the contents of your Groups, Lists, and Activity.

ADHD Life-Saver

My life consists of a lot of moving pieces and commitments, add in a sprinkle of ADHD and I’m the most forgetful person on this planet. I’m always looking for a way to easily log and track the different books or shows I want to watch when I finally get some free time. I’ve tried things like written notes or the notepad app but always manage to lose or forget about them. I’m also a very visual person, so not being able to easily see the cover of the media makes it harder to recall what it was about or why I even wanted to watch/read it. Sofa makes it so easy to quickly log a piece of media without having to hunt down all of the information itself. The shelf feature allows you to store media of all kinds in one category. I use it to log all of the media I am currently consuming and plan to consume next. Adding the widget to my phone makes it easy to quickly figure out what I want to watch next without having to rack my brain trying to remember that movie I saw on Netflix last week. It’s a game changer. 10/10. If the developers ever make something geared towards students or working professionals (marking conferences or technical documents), I’ll gladly use that too. My work around is adding in a custom category and inputting the titles manually. Multiple shelves would also be cool. Big thank you to the developers for the awesome app!

The backlog to end all backlogs

Truly the app I never knew I needed. Sometimes I put media in my backlog onto my daily to-do list just because it doesn’t really fit into any better place, so this is the perfect app to curate every piece of the pie I’ve dipped a finger in lol. It really is a great concept for those days when you know you have a nice chunk of free time, but aren’t sure what to do with it. Plus, having lists across multiple media genres in this one app consolidates many of the backlogs that I’m keeping in different places.

The UI is clean and intuitive, and I love the resource lookup integration, as even obscure titles readily appear when I search for them. Adding custom items is a great feature, too.

I do wish we had the ability to manually reorder items on a list rather than only by A-Z or date added. I look forward to seeing what new media formats get added to the app!

Not a bad app

I really like this idea. I downloaded it to organize my video games because I’m an achievement hunter. So having lists for games I need to purchase, games I need to complete 100%, and all by console. The reason I’m only giving 3 stars is for a few reasons… #1 - Can’t pick game by console. Example: there are Xbox 360 games and Xbox one games and you can differentiate them. #2 - Ran into several games I wanted to add that didn’t show up on the search. It does let you add a “custom game name” but it doesn’t let you choose the artwork for it, it’s just a blank generic image. Not a huge deal but part of the reason I was drawn to the app was the imagery. #3 - Can’t add notes or anything to anything on the lists. #4 - Can’t move items on lists around. Once items are added they stay in the order they were entered. So if you want all games (or anything, really) in a series together and in order, you have to add them all in a row in the order you want. Again, not a bad app. Just not user friendly enough yet for the purposes I’m looking for. I’m going to keep the app regardless and hope the dev will make some of these changes.

I do LOVE the fact that there is no data the app takes or need. Bravo on that 👏
