Solves: Calculator for All 4+

I’ve been using a TI-30X IIS for over 10 years now and every time I tried to switch to a calculator app there was always something that I needed that the app couldn’t provide. After trying at least 10 different apps I finally found this one. It allows you to move your cursor to edit an entry anywhere in the line (a surprisingly rare feature) and it allows you to recall former calculations and use the answers to them in future calculations. That combined with a lack of ads and ease of use makes this a fantastic calculator app!

My only complaint is that the app tends to give 3 digits in front of the decimal when it is giving you an answer in scientific notation. For most people that is probably fine, but for my work that is annoying. If it either defaulted to 1 digit or allowed you to select how many digits before the decimal in the settings then that would be good.

I have tried several calculator apps from the App Store, each of them had issues like having to wait for the add time to expire before being able to access the calculator, to not working with an external keyboard, to intermittently not working with an external keyboard.

This app has none of those issues, and I can not say what a time saver the sidebar on it is in terms of looking up the previous total on a calculation without having to redo it to get the total, nothing short of a huge time saver.

I love this calculator app, swear by it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a complete calculator app that cross platforms from the iPhone, to the iPad, to a Mac Desktop.

I just discovered this since Apple Sequoia broke the paper tape on the calculator that I use frequently. The history on this is attached to the main window instead of being a separate window so if I move it to another desktop I don’t have to move two window.I also just discovered the history on this (that replaces the paper tape) is shared between my desktop Mac Studio and my MacBook Pro. Apple should be watching this developer and realize they have been pwned. Excellent app and worth more than I paid for it. 😉
