Great App - Adds Control to Sonos

This was a great find. I have 1 airport express that supports Airplay 2 and Sonos speakers all over my house. With this app, I can ask Siri to group the Sonos speaker connected to airplay to other rooms and then play music directly from my music app. So far it seems to work well, maybe a tad slow which sometimes causes it to time out. My one request for the developer would be to add Apple Watch support. These shortcuts don’t work with the Apple Watch, I get an error saying “could not run unknown action. This action requires an app to be installed”. Adding Apple Watch support would be excellent.

Thank you for your feedback. Will work on speed improvements and the Apple Watch support for sure.

Bar Raising and Amazing Utility

Purchasing this app is a no brainer for any Sonos Owner S1 or S2. Soro sets the bar for how Utilities and Smart Home Apps should work with Shortcuts.

It has me completely spoiled and I wish that Philips Hue, Lutron, Ecobee, and even Sonos would take note, because this is how its done. Super reliable at squeezing tons of functionality out of the Sonos API. The only things I wish it could do are things that Sonos itself doesn’t expose. (E.G. Updating Alarms Set in the Sonos App).

If only the developers on Shortcuts were paying attention and would hire this developer to fix the native AirPlay Actions that don’t even support grouping by comparison.

Do yourself a favor and give this app a purchase, the examples inside are more than enough to get started and see the potential of the actions it exposes.

Want to bump up the Bass while home alone? You can do that and reset it as soon as someone else comes home. The fun use cases are endless and now possible with Soro.

Easy to use Shortcut Maker for Sonos

Bought this to automate a few routines to make my Sonos experience better, and it has! Reached out to the developer with a few questions before buying and he answered quickly and helpfully. The app basically just opens up options when using the shortcuts app, and you need to have an understanding of how to make shortcuts to use this. It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Would buy again.

Thanks very much! Glad you find the app useful.
