Great Game
This is a great game. Absolutely love the update. Definitely looking forward to more updates in the future. Really hoping for some kind of online or multiplayer feature but understand its easier said than done. There definitely comes a point where you get stuck on some levels but it’s so satisfying when you end up beating it.
Great Game, Don’t know what people are having trouble with
Been playing for a couple days and made it to 7-1 and bonus 3-3 so far. The crit immunity for bonus 3-3 is crazy tough but still enjoyably difficult. Stages and bosses all feel unique, and sometimes it’s crucial to choose upgrades for your character to cut projectiles more easily, which is a good thing as it lends itself to putting more thought into the upgrades you choose. However, I haven’t gotten to experiment much with different soul/ball builds since it’s so cumbersome to change between builds, since it’s so important where you place your souls. A way to save a build or deck or whatever and easily switch between them would be amazing, other than that a pretty fun game to play on and off throughout the day. Oh also another way to earn gems would be nice.
New update problems
This game was very fun to play up until the most recent update. I enjoyed the pacing of things and building my team a certain way. However, all the changes made to the game incredibly nerfed the teams, bombs, and made the game less f2p. What makes this worse, is that they changed what paid content does, to that point that the paid skins/characters have very little or no utility anymore. The fact that they changed what players have already paid for, without consulting the player is insane. I’ve never seen an app do this, and I’ve been playing mobile games for a long time. Balancing is important, but a large change like this should be made before the game is released. This seems like a major oversight. Regardless, new players starting to play this game after this update will find the game to be fun and rewarding.
