RECORDINGS ARE STORED SECURELY
Your privacy is important, which is why recordings only save to your iPhone and Apple ID. Sound Off cannot access your recordings. Before deleting the app, check iCloud backup is complete in the Sound Off settings. Then, download the Sound Off app to any device linked to the same Apple ID, and your recordings will restore.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for

For me (and for a lot of people), last year really exposed the cracks in my mental health. My therapist was quick to recommend journaling, an activity that I’d also seen a lot of my friends get in to during the pandemic. I did it for about two days and then gave up. I just found myself overthinking as I wrote, which really defeated the purpose of the exercise.

That’s when I found out about voice journaling. It made so much more sense to me to just speak my mind rather than try to write everything down. I spent the next few months cluttering up my Voice Memos app with all my ramblings. But then I heard about Sound Off.

Sound Off took what I was already doing and made it easier and better. Not only did it allow me to keep better track of my voice journaling, it also includes some great starting prompts about various topics that helped to guide my thoughts. I hope this app gets the recognition it deserves, and I can’t wait to it grow! Hoping some new starting prompts will be released soon.

I’ve been living abroad recently and my desire to journal has been deeply vital to process my thoughts and experiences. That said, my brain thinks faster than my hand can write. So to have a platform -secure - to release my internal dialogue is a blessing. Vocally too there is something deeply personal in hearing myself speak my own thoughts - sounds and all.

Excited to explore the guided prompts as well to see what else I might need to share or investigate in my own life. Beautifully simple yet empowering app.

A Beautiful Tool

Sound Off is the most beautiful voice memo app that I’ve used. I love the ability to choose my color styles and appreciate the thoughtfulness of the design. Because it’s so enjoyable to use it encourages me to continue to record consistently. I’ve found audio journaling to be an incredible useful tool for self-care and also as a creative business owner, too - and this app this a wonderful addition to my brainstorming & discovery practice. Would love to have the ability to use this with my wellness coaching clients as well!
