Version 1.1.3 includes country-aware wallet and payment improvements, expanded ride/zone handling, and a smoother overall ride flow. We also fixed sign-in issues when country is missing, improved receipt verification so pending receipts no longer block riders, added manual ad override support, and resolved several bugs and stability issues.

Start ride without a starting point Rides can begin with only a destination — no explicit starting location at start. The route map and geofence logic were updated to handle rides that begin before a GPS origin is known. Pending feedback enforcement Before starting a new ride (in-app and from the overlay), the app checks for required feedback on a prior ride — similar to the existing pending-receipt gate. Drivers must complete feedback before starting again.

### Smoother location handling We removed background location checks that ran on a fixed schedule in the background. - Location is still used during active rides for announcements and trip tracking, as before. - This change reduces unnecessary background activity and should help with battery use.

Easier sign-in You can now sign in or create an account with Google, not just email and password. Sessions also last longer — the app refreshes your login in the background so you’re less likely to be signed out unexpectedly. Wallet & earnings The Wallet tab is always available from the main navigation, so you can check earnings anytime — you no longer have to wait until you’ve earned something first. Wallet and ride history were updated to match how payments work on our side. If a payout doesn’t go through, ride details can now show that a transfer failed, so it’s clearer when something needs attention. Share your announcements with a QR code From the menu, drivers can open a new QR code screen to promote their announcements. You can view the code on your phone and download or share a poster (PDF) to print or send to passengers. This update brings a refreshed ride experience and smoother money workflows across the app: Ride tab redesign: the app now cleanly switches between Driver Status, Active Ride (with progress + actions), and Zones map based on your current state. Active ride improvements: shows a clear ride status badge, time/destination details, and geofence progress toward the next audio announcement/destination. End-ride is confirmed and refreshes the latest ride data. Zones map upgrade: zones now display with an improved UI including a status bar, a filter/sheet flow for active vs scheduled zones, and map tooltips. Label rendering is tuned to fit cleanly inside zone circles. Start Ride validation: destination selection now checks whether your endpoint is within an active zone range (with an “out of range” message) and uses the latest zone availability when starting. Background location reliability: ride-related location/geofence handling is more robust, including debounced announcement triggers and updated push notification messaging based on distance to the relevant geofence. Wallet and Withdraw UX: withdrawal eligibility and errors are clearer, available balance now uses the internal ledger as the source of truth, and the flow provides better loading and setup-required states. Language updates: refreshed Spanish and Portuguese ride/zone strings to match the new UI.

Background location updates - Background location updates now start once when the app launches (when you’ve already granted location permission), so your location stays up to date without extra steps after login. - Location is only sent to the server when you’re logged in. If you’re signed out, the app still runs its background task but doesn’t upload location, which is better for privacy and battery. - Improved handling when the system is about to stop the app’s background time: the app now finishes its work and reports completion correctly, so you shouldn’t see related warnings. Reliability and performance - The app no longer asks for location permission again on every launch; it only checks whether permission is already granted when setting up background updates. - Signing out no longer turns off background updates entirely. The background process keeps running and will start uploading again as soon as you sign back in. Bug fixes - Resolved a warning about the background fetch timeout callback. The app now provides a proper timeout handler and always signals task completion to the system.

Zones — See where you can earn We've added Zones so you can see exactly where campaigns are running and when you can earn. • Zones on the map — Campaign areas appear as circles on the ride map. Green zones are active (you can earn now); others may be scheduled (upcoming). You can tap any zone to open its details. • Zone status bar — Above the map you'll see the current situation: which zone is active (with name and hours), when the next zone opens, or “No Active Zones Right Now” when nothing is active. • Zone details — Tap a zone on the map or in the list to open Zone details: name, schedule, when earnings are available, and a map of the zone. Handy for planning where to drive. • Start a ride only in active zones — You can start a ride only when your destination is inside a green active zone. If the destination is outside, you'll see “Outside Active Zone” and we'll explain that earnings apply when the ride ends inside an active zone during its hours. • Zones list — Open the Zones section to see Active zones and Scheduled zones sorted by distance. Tap any zone for details. Use pull-to-refresh or the zones refresh control to update zones for your location. • No zones in your area — If there are no campaign zones nearby, you'll see a clear message and can refresh or move to an area with active campaigns. Earnings still work the same: when a ride ends inside an active zone during its hours, an announcement may play and, after verification, your earnings are added to your wallet. Zones make it easier to see where and when that can happen. We've also made small improvements and fixes for stability and performance.
