SOUND PROFILES
We’ve created Sound Profiles to optimize your SOUNDBOKS for different spaces and occasions. Choose between Bass+, Power, or Indoor for your SOUNDBOKS 3 and SOUNDBOKS GO, as well as the new profiles Stage, Dancefloor, or Lounge for your SOUNDBOKS 4.
CUSTOM EQ
Customize your own sound with the adjustable EQ. If you want more bass, more treble or anything in between, the power is at your fingertip. This is the best equalizer app for your SOUNDBOKS.
TEAMUP AND SKAA PRO MODE
Want that surround sound experience? No problem. TeamUp allows you to connect multiple speakers simply using the app. And, for quicker wireless response and improved audio quality, the new SKAA Pro Mode gives DJs and performers the best show possible.
PRO PANEL AND PERFORMANCE MODES
Want more bass for your guitar and louder volume for your mic? Use the Pro Panel’s enhanced performance modes to make each input sound just how you want it.
ANTI-THEFT LOCK
We don’t want anyone to steal your playlist, vibe, or speaker. Our anti-theft lock keeps your SOUNDBOKS protected in any situation. All you have to do is register your SOUNDBOKS to lock it and keep it safe.
FIRMWARE UPGRADES
We’re always looking to improve your SOUNDBOKS experience. Firmware upgrades in the app allow us to upgrade your speaker’s performance just like that.

Finally an APP Update!
I have 3 SondBoks speakers….x2 v3’s. x1 GO.
They would disconnect reguarly. Pairing worked like 70% of the time. During a party, the music ALWAYS stopped. And I had to re-pair them. And it was embarrassing. I upgraded firmware. Which, I might add, needs to be done like ALL the time. And it takes forever.
With the new APP. I have not ran into the issues I did previously. Looks like they got their act together. Even if it took 2 years lol

Excellence and dedication to improvements
I have two of the New SOUNDBOKS speakers, themselves huge improvements in accurate frequency response over previous models. Since the original release of the speakers, the improvements wrought through firmware and app updates have proven the developers are serious about the potential of the more powerful electronics in the speaker.
My favorite improvement in 1.3.2 was a tweaking of the bass reproduction to minimize boominess evident in the original firmware. Together with the Indoor sound mode, this renders the New SOUNDBOKS useable in small rooms without overwhelming bass response.
The biggest surprise was acceptable (20-40 ms) combined latency when played as a stereo pair over Bluetooth. This makes it possible to use a wireless audio pair for movie playback without excessive audio latency.
Finally, being able to use a Bluetooth audio source while remotely controlling the volume of a New SOUNDBOKS with a second device allowed me to adjust volumes from the back of a large auditorium during a school movie night, as if I were at a remote soundboard. This is truly the wireless future, today!

Great app, great speaker
App works great, especially with the speaker. Really great design, has always worked flawlessly. Same with the speaker, but thats not the review per say.
One hitch though, this app should not under any circumstance require an internet connection to use. If i get logged out with no service i can’t use the app or like today when it updated i needed to create an account. Which would not have worked without service, ie no use of app. Big flaw in implementation for a speaker that goes everywhere fyi.
