Description
Sound Level is a simple but powerful tool for getting a quick sound reading of the current environment. The readings have been calibrated to dBA, which is a weighting that matches the human ear, and Sound Level provides comparison values so you know what the sound is equal to.
All results are graphed so you can go back in time and take a look. If you have the pro features (a one time in-app purchase), you even have the ability to export your results as a CSV file!

Worked fine
It was fine for me, it worked fine and was accurate, but it takes up so much space that I had to delete it.
EVERYTHING is 70 to 92 db
I've been to several rock concerts and if the band isn't playing at all the app registers 70 db. If they play a heavy song it registers 92 db. Then when it's REALLY loud (I used earplugs) it still registers only 92 db. I tried rotating my iPhone in several different positions with no change. Pro version shows same issues according to reviews. Fun to try but don't rely on accuracy.

I "tested/tried" this app because I run a WVO centrifuge in my neighborhood garage.
I also have my 37" Vizio blaring (so I can hear it over the centrifuge).
Well I'm thinking about moving my operation to the back of my place, yet need "quiet" so not to upset neighbors. This thing was 100% spot on for my noise tests!!!
I gave it 5-10 relative tests. Always coming back to the centrifuge to calibrate.
