Space Leaper: COCOON 12+

The art is cute and the characters are fun! I’ve loved them so far. The details in the art for each character is great. The world building has been interesting, hopefully the quality will stay consistent. I really like how immersive the game is.
I only have a few gripes, one is the potential imbalance between paying players and casual players. As far as I’ve seen, the items for sale now are unproportionately overpowered. It makes me anxious of the chance of this game becoming pay-to-win once you get farther in. Gripe number two is the preregister rewards. I was one of the "500,000" but it launched really late at night where I live and I had to get up early for work so I approved the download and went to bed (it was two or three AM). I get home, pop on my phone to decompress and recover from a long day of human interaction, finally get to try this cute game out, go through the (inconveniently long) tutorial, check my mail, and find out that I ran out of time to claim the rewards.
It’s an oversight that’s inconsiderate of ALL of its users and I really hope it does not become a theme. I really hate it when one group of players is favored over another because of location. We all know we don’t need another Love Nikki.

I really like this game but I stared to notice something’s missing like texted for characters and ( this mite just be the gacha system) but very lacking variety of drops to the point that I’ve received the same one so many times that I don’t even need any other form of Exchange to level them. Not only that but the system of type verses has not ones ever mattered ones The entire time I’ve played and some of them are so under powered that there is zero and I mean zero reason to pick them, I get that your higher ranking ones are supposed to be strong but man just don’t bother. I spent about 30 or so dollars on this and doesn’t feel like a big difference which is good but know I just feel like it’s so hollow like this game is beautiful it is just great art style but it just needs more life, like breaking the fourth wall don’t just break it smash it go nuts stop playing safe stop being a cut out of ever single gacha we’ve all seen! This has potential like real potential and want to see it at the top.

There are a bunch of things I like and dislike about this game. It’s great at pacing the gameplay so it’s never too hard or too easy, the pull rates are good, I’m not a fan of pixel art in general but I feel like the characters having art that I like outside of battle is good enough for me. The tutorial is kind of too long for me, and isn’t direct enough to learn everything it’s trying to teach you it’s too long winded about the explanations for them to be easily learned. The top thing that I’d like fixed or added, is the ability to turn off my phone or exit the app (without closing it) and be able to pick up where I left off, without it reloading the whole game. Overall it’s hard to make everyone happy, but I feel like this game does a good job of bringing a little bit of everything into the mix and I think most of the people this game is marketed to will appreciate and enjoy their time spent here. So download it, give it a try, and have fun.
