Best Spades Game. 100% Free. No in-app-purchase. Provide best user experience.
A standard pack of 52 cards is used ranked from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
The four players are in fixed partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other. The first dealer is chosen at random, and the turn to deal rotates clockwise. The cards are shuffled and dealt clockwise.
The player to dealer's left leads any card (except a spade). Each player, in turn, clockwise, must follow suit if able; if unable to follow suit, the player may play any card. A trick containing a spade is won by the highest spade played; if no spade is played, the trick is won by the highest card of the suit led. The winner of each trick leads to the next. Spades may not be led until either some player has played a spade, or the leader has nothing but spades left in hand.
The side which reaches 500 points first wins the game.
Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed this gMe very much until ads appear throughout the game. Way too many. The game itself rates high.
Too many ads - causes game to stall.
Really enjoyed this game - until the last update. Now there are way too many ads. The game actually stalls mid-play many times when the ad splash at the bottom of the page changes. The ads at the end of each round are way too frequent and override your volume settings so you can’t play when you need to be silent. Some take way too much time to be able to close. It seems like I now spend more time waiting on ads than I spend playing.
Too many ads
I used to really like this app and would have given it four stars until today. I updated my app and now I’m getting an ad after EVERY hand. I understand, and don’t mind, the need for “free” apps to have ads but one after EVERY hand is ridiculous. I’m going to give it a couple of days to see if there’s an update that cuts way back on the ads. If not then I’m deleting the app and finding another.
