Description

Spades is a trick-taking card game that can be played with 3 players solo, 4 players solo, or 4 players with partners (2 teams of 2). A standard 52-card deck is dealt, then players bid the number of tricks they can take. The goal is to take as many tricks as were bid. When playing with partners, North/South is one team, West/East is the other, and teammates' bids and tricks are combined, so one player's underbid can compensate for his teammate's overbid.

This app allows you to configure number of players and teams, the appearance of the table and cards, rules about nil bids and when spades can be lead. There are instructions included in the app, as well as a setting to make your robot opponents less aggressive or more aggressive.

good Game to Lose to

Was not created by someone with the slightest knowledge of the game. If you are set, it's by your partner. Your partner will also take as many tricks as possible (unfortunately not bidding them). If you go NIL will waste their high spades on unnecesary tricks.

I love this game

except the score starts over with each hand - so enjoyable it’s not a big deal. I like that it’s possible to win often especially with the option to redeal your hand if don’t like the 200 point blind nil or don’t like a hand without trump. Nice graphics. My ‘partner’ is great - plays according to my level but is usually better than me. Encouraging, challenging game! The hands are so much fun that it is hard to stop playing.

This is pretty good

I'm pretty happy to give this review. I play against the computer(not online) and one computer player bid nil and must have forgot not to take any hands, ha ha, it was funny! It feels like you are acutally playing with living people. The thing about scoring on this app though, you will have to keep a physical tally if you want to keep score. Just had to share this. Thank you to the developers.
