We've been hard at work on some new updates to enhance our Sparklers' experience! Search results now include the story duration for each result. You will also notice that sorting of stories on the iOS app now match the web experience. And now when your listening experience is interrupted by a phone call, the story will automatically resume when your call finishes.

This release has bug fixes and feature enhancements! Our goal is to make the Sparkle experience truly Sparkle for our loving community of listeners!

We've been lovingly at work on many bug fixes and feature enhancements in this release!  Along with those, we added big new updates to our search functionality we're excited about!  Based on user feedback, we made adjustments to how the browse button in the navigation works. Now you can click on the browse button from any page, and easily transition to the browse page. From there you can search for your next favorite story, even while happily listening to your current story!

We've been lovingly at work on enhancements to our iOS app. Listening to you, our users, and working in enhancements to make the experience the best it can be. This release includes those enhancements and bug fixes, and we have two exciting NEW features rolled out as well! Drum roll.... We've added a new story suggestions banner added to your dashboard! This will contain new story suggestions for you, based on your previous listening experience. We've added the ability to drag and drop stories in your Storybox! Now you can sort through your most loved stories in your Storybox. Simply navigate to your Storybox, and drag and drop those stories in the order you choose.

Now you can find your favorite characters by series! Click the series of choice, and see all the collections within that series. Also: we can now send you notifications when our newest stories are released! Be sure to allow notifications for Sparkle Stories in your settings.

We’re rolling out some exciting new features that have been heavily requested — on this upgrade, you’ll find: - Your favorite stories are easily shareable! We’ve added a button on the bottom right corner of each story that will bring up a pop-up menu where you can choose where you’d like to share — send any story through email or share on your social media accounts. We’ll be rolling out some additional sharing features soon — keep on the lookout! - Stories you’ve already heard will be marked as “played.” If you’ve listened to it already, a small green checkmark will appear next to the story length. - The ability to block sensitive content. Head to your account settings, located at the top right corner of the homepage (where your initials are). You’ll see the switch to not show sensitive stories under the settings. What are sensitive stories? These are stories that may include complex topics such as death, loss, familial challenges, and hard emotions. We hope you enjoy these changes!

We've got rid of a few bugs! - Your storybox will no longer disappear after favoriting a story - Buttons that weren't supposed to show up that didn't work are now removed. As you know, we are always working to improve the Sparkle experience. This new app is completely redesigned from the ground up, providing an experience you'll recognize from our website. Be sure to update ASAP so you can continue to enjoy your Sparkle Stories! Major changes from the old app: - A "docked" story player. You can now play a story while navigating the app, and even other apps! - An option for a full screen player. Swipe right and left to go to the previous and next stories. Swipe down to hide the player and go back. - Offline listening is now faster and easier. - Remembers your place in each story. - Dedicated page per story, with easy access to related stories. Plus, you'll have the story descriptions at your fingertips. - Dedicated collection page. Easily find all the stories in a collection. - Bottom tab bar for easier navigation. - Faster search. We can't wait for you to try it!
