The Spartan Camera Management App is a great addition for security and surveillance use. Your Spartan camera will capture images of thieves and intruders, and deliver them to your mobile device seconds later.

Subpar
Cameras themselves are top of the line. It’s unfortunate that the app is not. For the life of my i cannot figure out why Spartan hasn’t stayed up to date with all development like other camera brands have. Every single other brand of cellular cameras I have has a much more user friendly, and much more feature rich app than Spartan. And now those others are starting to catch up with product quality as well. This is the bare bones of what a app should be. You can’t save pictures or videos. You can create albums. Those are pretty basic functions that other brands have had for years but Spartan does not.
Have To Delete/Reload App To Use Some Functions
About 25% of the time the GoLive function button is grayed out when I open the app. GoLive does not need work and I cannot request that the camera take a pic. The only way to get the functions to work is to delete and reload the app. Have seen numerous other Spartan GoLive camera reviews that mention the same issue. I purchased a second camera to see if the issue might with the camera. I have the same issue with both cameras. App is loaded on an iPhone and an iPad.

We are currently investigating and developing fixes for any connection issues that come up with the app on iphone and android.
Hate the new update
I have multiple cameras and shared cameras. The camera picture icons are too big for quickly viewing. New photo’s don’t even show up…you have to click on the camera to view new photo. The library is confusing to figure out which camera took the new pic if you have multiple cameras. Please make pic icons smaller for quick view.
