Smooth but dated
The visualizer is better than expected, really flowing in rhythm with the music but the menu interface is well, dated and is riddled with ads that spoils the visualizer. Looking at the UI with the ads on top of that is like throwing acne on a walrus's face. What would make this better is a better looking user interface, the ability is continue playing in the background (maybe set visualizer to the wallpaper/lock screen), the option to remove or limit ads, and a better looking app icon (feels as if I should hide it in a folder within a folder). Seriously looks like the first gen iPod color stuff; that would be a compliment. 3 star for a awesome visualizer.
Bit big for its britches
I've always been a sucker for music visualization, so I HAD to get this app when I saw it. I'm mostly very pleased with it and I have high hopes for it. It does crash a lot, and a few people have already mentioned the desire to be able to skip songs or add a shuffle mode. I've noticed that it seems to be a bit laggy. There are these odd skips in the light show and it always seems to be about a half-second off tempo. I expect this, though, since it's got a lot of weight on its shoulders! Other than that, I love this! I hope this app will continue to receive updates and get better and better!
Can get past the ads for their other apps maybe once out of every 20 tries. Then no manual controls for the visualizer, and it doesn't move with the music much if at all. Soon I'll probably delete it.
If they let you pay a buck to get rid of ALL ads, and combined it with Spawn Sparkle, it would be cool. Basically it would be just adding your a music list, beat control, and the geometric function to Sparkle. I'd spend a buck or two on it.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
