Description

Speakeasy is being developed as a research application for the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas. Our goal is to create a tool for rapid and efficient screening of speech sound skills in preschool-age children. Your participation will help us gather information about speech sound production in this population. Because this is a research study, individual performance results will not be distributed.

With the Speakeasy application, your child or client will say 29 words following visual and verbal prompts. The app is user-friendly and includes features for capturing, replaying, and redoing recordings. A video tutorial provides the basics of the app’s function and methods for optimizing recordings.
