Good basic meter...needs input choices
It works well for a basic meter, but for the $15 per month, at least have more customizations and at a minimum, allow different inputs to be selected aside from what is the system default. I need to monitor audio devices that may not be the default system device, and I also need to monitor more than one audio device simultaneously.
Limited Free Functionality
If you only ever use the default microphone there might be a point to trying this out. I don't think it is useful for any other type of input, but I don't really have a way to see that because the pop ups focus on trying to get you to buy something with no depth in the description of what you get after you pay. All that is available for free is the default microphone input. It is not useful in my studio.
NOT FREE
THIS IS NOT FREE. As soon as you launch the app, it presents you with a screen to sign up and pay. You can't get around it. It says "free trial for 3 days", but it auto-renews, therefore IT IS NOT FREE. There is no "minimal functionality" you get for free. You can't even use it unless you sign up for the premium. These apps that appear in the app store as "free" but force you to pay to use it should be reviewed more closely by Apple and removed.
