Description

The Speed Watch program is performed by volunteers to survey speeding infractions throughout Canada. The Speed Watch app provides a simplified workflow for data entry compared to data entry with pen and paper.

Volunteers use the app to create and start a session, where they set the initial data, which consists of volunteer names, address, speed limit, direction of travel, weather, road zone, road conditions, and visibility.

The volunteer selects the range of vehicle speed given the time and date, and vehicle type. The totals for each speed range are shown as a count. The events are exported to an excel file with the initial setup data as well as the recorded data during a session which can be sent to the desired party.
