SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION:

IMPORTANT USAGE NOTES:
- Speedometer One needs access to Location Services in order to work.
- It is not compatible with Wifi only iPad or iPod Touch.
- Our speed tracker is based on GPS info. GPS sensor is not always accurate due to the device hardware sensor limitation. When in doubt, always rely on your car's speedometer.
- GPS is most accurate when you are in wide-open spaces. Trees, tall buildings, and other things might affect your GPS accuracy.
- Prolonged use of GPS will affect your battery life.
- Stay safe. Focus on the road ahead and do not interact with any device when you are driving.

Great App

I use this app to check speeds on my vehicles. It is great and accurate. I also use it when I check speeds on golf carts that are purchased at my business. I use it to check the speed of the carts when then come in to us and after I have installed the lift kits seats and larger tires. I also you the mileage feature while testing the carts!! Wonderful app!!!

Ruined a good thing

I used to love this app, and I purchased it because of that. For the longest time, I was very happy using it. However, it seems the developer was not satisfied with the income generated from in-app purchases and transitioned to a subscription model. The problem is that it would be fine if only new users or customers got the subscription, but there's constant pressure to subscribe even if you have the pro upgrade and have already paid for it. I find it greedy, and the implementation is reckless and dangerous while driving. When you turn it on, there's a screen where you're supposed to click, but it's unclear what to click to proceed. By the time you reach the paid features, you've been asked multiple times to subscribe. I use this app in the car, and dealing with pop-ups and constant upgrade prompts is disruptive. Until this is reversed, and pro users don't see unnecessary ads, my review remains one star—I would give it zero stars if I could.

Already paid for this

EDIT: Dev is responsive. No more constant splash screen on startup. Max speed is recorded when Auto start trip is turned on or trip is manually started. Some other glitches, but the app is usable again.

Why are you forcing an upgrade splash screen on startup to another tier for $17? I already paid to have ads removed. And it doesn’t default to the style I had before anymore either. So to use this I have to X out of the splash screen and then switch the style because it doesn’t save. It also no longer records max speed. Ridiculous.

Hi, I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. The upgrade splash screen on startup should no longer appear more than once for version, that issue is now fixed.

You should have exactly the same features that you paid for before, no ads and all color themes unlocked. About the max speed, all trip metrics will appear after the trip is started, and the trip should start automatically by default.
