Description

Speek! is the first messenger that is decentralized and metadata-free by design. It makes no compromise on ease-of-use and is as easy to use as popular messaging apps.

In comparison to popular messaging applications like Telegram, WhatsApp, and Signal, Speek! is by far the most secure way to converse. Speek! is serverless, stores no metadata, requires no ID or phone number, and all the messages are end-to-end encrypted.

The users are only identified with public keys. Each user can share their public key with others to add them to the contacts list.

DECENTRALIZED: Speek! is a p2p messenger. Your messages and data are never stored on any servers. Speek! makes it possible to converse without middlemen.

SECURE: Speek! is the most secure messenger. Everything is encrypted on your device and all your messages are routed via the Tor network.

100% FREE & OPEN: Speek! is free for everyone. There will be never any in-app purchases and all the source code is open-sourced.

PRIVATE: All your messages are private. Nothing is stored and there is no meta-data. Once you close Speek! all your messages are deleted.

FEATURE-RICH: Encrypted file-sharing is supported. The files are also shared p2p and all the traffic is encrypted.

Better than WhatsApp

I am really impressed with this application and use it for SMS messages too. However, it isn't working well in my car (Bluetooth coupled) since I don't receive the alerts for new messages on my car unless I have the car audio system configured to use it's Bluetooth audio channel. Additionally, when someone calls me with their Speek! when I'm inside my vehicle my car alerts me, but it doesn't display the contact's ID information. Instead, it informs me that my personal cellphone is calling me, and I have the option to place it on hold.

Awesome

This app is simply the top-quality, with no privacy issues. There are so many features built into.. It's simply amazing (my favorite app of all time). Everyone should give it an attempt to this app and change to your messaging application is. It's got one issue, the call quality isn't as good as the app, but it's better than the telegram app (only in the case of poor speed internet) and perhaps chat interface scrolling isn't the same smooth and fluid as that of telegram, or the application (maybe it's not optimised by my smartphone) however, it's the best app.

Very much good

In general, I find Speek! to be in line with whattsapp. However, there's no option to highlight an individual message when responding to it. It's the fact that I need to share photos one at a time , when I have a lot of pictures I want to share. There is an option that allows you to the sharing of more than one picture at a time, however when it's only one the problem is that it's not working!
