Find words by dragging your finger over adjacent tiles. Let go to submit. After submission, the letters vanish and new tiles fall from above. Longer words earn more points as well as bonus tiles. Keep an eye on each level's objective. You may need to find a certain number of words, a specific number of tiles, or perhaps just stay alive!
Spell Rift works hand in hand with Game Center. Prove your lexical authority to your friends and the world. Each level has a leader board, but true masters will shine on Spell Rift's Total Score leader board.

I love the re-birth of this game by Kieffer Bros.
The old version “Abca” I really loved. It was simple and engaging. Plus the sounds were unique and didn’t get on your nerves. And best of all it was free if memory serves me correctly.
Nevertheless After having re-discovered this game I immediately paid the fee and re-downloaded it. Enjoying it again. Hope there is a version II. I sent them a bunch of suggestions and they actually replied. Hopefully they incorporated some of my suggestions. But nevertheless enjoying playing it again.

Good game, but...
I love word games, and word searches are always fun. This one reminds me a lot of Bookworm.
The reason for 4 stars instead of five is that the wording for the level achievements is not always clear.
For instance, the challenge was “find word using six tiles.” I found a seven letter word thinking there were also 6 letters in it,so it fulfilled the criteria, right? Wrong.
When it says 6 tiles it means ONLY 6 tiles. Lame.
Sometimes when it says things like “Make a word using three copper tiles”, it doesn’t mean use three copper tiles in one word. It means a three letter words comprised only of copper tiles.
It’s not always intuitive, and there is a learning curve for this that they don’t make clear. It could be frustrating to achievement junkies. Those type of instructions should be written more precisely. Or, just let go of achievements and enjoy the game.
I also don’t care for the timed rounds, and that’s true in any game I choose. I prefer a more relaxed pace.
Other than those small gripes, I’m enjoying the game very much!
Keep up the good work!
I was an original user of KB's Lexic, before it became Abca, and decided to try Spell Rift. So far it's quite fun and the diverse game types keep things interesting. My only issue is, unlike Lexic and Abca, I cannot create my own custom match (that I can see at least, still haven't finished the adventure mode as that's not what I like). Also not sure if we can even find new tile sets and boarders for the game. I just wanted to sit down and play a blackout round or two today and ended up having to grind more adventure mode because I don't even see that option (is it even a game true anymore?). Kind of disappointed.
