The allure of spelling bees doesn't make it past childhood for most. We're here to change that.
Spelling Buzzed is a fast-paced spelling bee game, meant to be played with friends, family, people you may meet while on a long layover.
The rules are simple:
- Gather four to eight people and put your spelling skills to the test
- Each time someone spells a word wrong, they lose a point and receive a punishment
- Customize punishments that are best suited for your group - or play without any
- Losing with no hope in sight? Liven things up by selecting from 3 free power ups
- Get to 5 points to win the spelling bee. If your team drops to negative 3 points, you automatically lose
Whether you're looking to challenge your family to a spelling match, or simply wanting to spend a weekend playing a unique and hilarious game, Spelling Buzzed is designed to be suitable and entertaining for everyone.

To bee or not to bee
This app changed my life. All my friends would disable my autocorrect and after my 3rd divorce I knew something had to change. I tried everything from reading the dictionary to asking people on Omegle to help me spell words. Now that I’m on Spelling Buzzed I’m the talk of the town. Now that I can spell I can do everything that I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve even started writing reviews!
