SpiderOak ONE is your confidential cloud for secure, reliable backup. Protect your most important files from ransomware and data loss.
The SpiderOakONE iPhone® application lets you:
› Access any of your files that have been backed up on your computer(s)
› View your ShareRooms & those shared with you
› Send any file to anyone by creating a share link
› Share & open documents with other applications on your iOS device
› Immediate access to files in your SpiderOakONE Hive folder (read-only)
The SpiderOak ONE Hive folder is an easy way to keep all of your files in-sync across your computers and mobile devices. It must first be used on a computer, but any items dropped into your Hive folder become accessible across your mobile devices.
The SpiderOak ONE iPhone® application works in conjunction with the SpiderOak ONE service, which may be downloaded and installed on all of your computers (including Mac, Windows, and Linux).
NOTE: Although a SpiderOak ONE account is recommended to enjoy all the features of the application, it is not required. You can use this application to view ShareRooms without having an account.

Secure but not fully functional
I appreciate Spyder Oak’s secure philosophy and process; but currently on my iOS device I cannot even save files from emails or internet into the Spyder One drive. Essentially you can only download/read on your iOS devices files you have uploaded I assume only from a Mac OS or Windows OS. At least that is the case for me.
Not having mobile upload capability puts this iOS app’s utility on the lower end of file storage and access.
Hope they find ways to fix this on iOS soon; I will probably just move my data to iCloud and count on Apple security to be as competent as Spyder.
Guys, you probably were first to start encrypted storage service, but now you are last. I have just tried your desktop and iPhone apps in attempt to check available options on the market. You do not have two factor authentication. Your IPhone app does not support touch ID and just plainly not secure. Instead of having encrypted storage on the phone, you just download files from your servers. Are we still in 2008? You will not survive competition, if you are going to live in the past and boast about your old achievements, instead of working on critical features. Looks like there are no better option than Tresorit at the moment.
Sort of works, but not really
The “Hive” downloading of documents seems not to work at all. Takes ages to navigate to a document - if you have nested folders it takes forever. And then the document seems to load but after a long wait it fails. This happens on all devices. Your mileage may differ.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
