Suck at waking up? Are you the type of person to set multiple alarms minutes apart just to make sure you wake up on time? If so, say hello to your new alarm clock.

SpinMe Alarm Clock is a super clever app designed to get you out of bed on time.

The only way to turn off the alarm is by getting out of bed and physically spinning yourself around until the alarm stops! There is no escape!

Think you can cheat and simply spin the device while still in bed? Try and see for yourself! If SpinMe doesn't wake you up, then we don't know what will.

Just check out what heavy sleepers like you are saying:
"I've gone through every alarm and I can snooze for hours if given the opportunity. This app has brought a whole new perspective to my day."

"If you can't wake up in the morning, you need this app!!"

"It actually gets me out of bed! No more drifting back off to sleep!"

No need for flying alarm clocks, moving alarm clocks, placing several alarms across your room…SpinMe does the same job right on your phone! It's the perfect alarm clock for heavy sleepers, obnoxious snoozers, and the like. Oh, and did we mention there is no snooze button?

- Sleek and simple interface
- Wake up and spin to your favourite iPod music or any of the 15 built in alarm tones, ranging from soothing melodies to loud noises that will make you think it's the end of the world
- Progressive alarm that starts off quietly and gradually gets louder
- Alarm will continuously ring even when app isn't running
- Absolutely no tolerance for letting you sleep in.

Great for waking up but needs more options!

I have a very hard time waking up, and this app definitely has helped! The only way around spinning to turn off the alarm is deleting the app. It really has made a difference in helping ensure I wake up on time!
However, I do have a few complaints with it:
As other reviews mention too, this app definitely can make you dizzy when you spin around while tired. Some mornings when I am more tired than others, I get dizzier than usual. I would love a setting to spin one way then the other, which I think would help offset dizziness.
Next, although spinning does make me dizzy on some occasions I wish there was an option to increase the number of spins required. That, coupled with opposite direction spinning would definitely make sure I don't go back to bed anyway!

Works, but lack of options

I turn off my alarm in my sleep so I needed something more difficult. I found this app and after being late to work twice in one week. I was desperate for anything that I could trust to wake me up.

This alarm has woken me up every time I've used it. But I did NOT think that the only option to turn the alarm off was to spin in circles. It makes me really dizzy and being half asleep and spinning around is not really the safest way to wake up. I thought that this alarm would have me doing a variety of things to get me up but nope- only spinning around in a circle twice.

Honestly, the dizziness this alarm causes is actually quiet bad. It was okay the first and second time I've used the alarm but it's gotten worse. I have an inner ear thing that makes me very sensitive to motion. This is definitely something to consider if that is a concern you might have before buying this app.

I will probably try to find another alarm method to wake me up and once I find one that's effective, I'll probably delete Spin Me.

Lack of options, have to keep the app open all night, limited alarm sounds... There just isn't enough to make me feel that it's worth it to keep the app.

It wakes me up 85% of the way.

So far this app has gotten me up in the morning without me going straight back to bed. I use it on an iPad since I do not have an iPhone, and yes it works well on an iPad. One thing though. If you have an iPad cover that magnets your iPad to sleep, DON'T USE IT OVERNIGHT. If you do so and you chose a custom song for a wake up alarm, it will revert it to the default guitar strum tone. Instead put your iPad face down WITHOUT closing its cover. Songs worked fine every time after that. I can't really think of any issues for it on my iPad. Just make sure you have your system volume set high up a decent amount. I recommend this app for anti-morning people.
