Amazing, would recommend
This gives in-game items for free, has no in app purchases, and even has some comics you can read to learn about the LORE. Great app and you can tell that it was made with passion.
My Thoughts
It’s nice to see we’re actually getting lore for the game, and doing it with comics is really neat. However, this app seems to like to crash a lot, and there isn’t much to do on it yet. Most will only visit this app once and be done, or will only revisit whenever they drop a new comic. I hope the app will have more uses when the game comes out, like perhaps you can customize your loadouts/locker without having to be on the game, and it’ll sync up, just an idea.
I’m very concerned
Hopefully Splitgate 2 has nothing to do with the comics in this app. Please leave all of that stuff out of the game itself. You can have stories and lore, but keep all of it completely separated from the game. Absolutely no in-game character bios with pronouns and sexual orientation. You are guaranteed to go the way of Concord if you put any gender politics into what is supposed to be a fun competitive shooter and nothing more.
I do not want Splitgate 2 to fail.
