Great game just a few problems
Spongebob moves in is a great game I have played it for a while now, it’s great for kids and it’s can be really fun with getting tasks and unlocking characters and houses while passing through the levels, getting more coins+jelly jars, and being able to do more Also it’s fun bc you can make your land and lay it out the way you want! There are just a few things first thing is while you are playing it sometimes crashes (and no it’s not bc of my device) i knew that right after I did this last app update that it started which kinda stink. Another thing is as you get to higher levels there is less to do and less tasks which can get boring but that happens when you get the the ending levels. Last thing one thing that I absolutely dislike is and I wish they would change is buying things with the coins instead of the jelly jars so btw make sure TO NOT SPEND THEM ALL...lol. But anyway this game is great I’m sorry if some of that was a little nitpicking but it’s a great game!
Fun, But Issues Persist
This is a pretty neat little game that somehow takes me back to the days of Roller Coaster Tycoon (1 and 2). It's always a pleasure to be able to build a city and earn money while you do it so that you can continue to develop your properties, and that is made all the better with SpongeBob being the theme of the game. That being said, this game has some serious issues that need resolving (or so some of them seem to be issues). The in-game sounds tend to shut off (particularly when going to Patchy’s town) and tapping precision is not very well calibrated (try to tap a money or food bubble and either you miss or you end up opening the business that happened to be behind it). With the newest update, a glitch I’ve noticed is that after playing by the game once, when you go back to play a second time after you’ve closed out the game, it completely ignores your save data and tries to start a new game. One reviewer commented that deleting and reinstalling the app fixes the problem. For me, it fixed it for one go, and then reverted to trying to start a new game. So, it seems the new update makes it difficult for the app to reach servers to obtain game data. If these issues could be fixed, and if the land beside Jellyfish Fields (by the sea/dock) could be obtainable (like in Patchy’s town), the experience would be better and I would happily give the game a higher rating.
AWESOME GAME but...
Ok, don’t get me wrong, I love Spongebob, and when I found this game I was ecstatic. And only after 2 days, I’m on level 13. But the more I played the game, the more bugs I found. So I’m gonna list the bugs I found and hopefully you’ll fix these in the near future. Squidward: FuTuRe!! Anyways, the first bug I found was the characters’ looks. Say I left Spongebob in his undie outfit, when I leave him on that, log in the next day, and change him back to normal, he would be all chunky and the textures were crapped up. The second bug is rents. Say I make everyone do something, and come back the next day. Only the characters would have rents available, not the buildings and houses. The final bug is Patchy’s Bikini Bottom. I love visiting Patchy’s Bikini Bottom because of how good it is. But here’s the thing. When I first saw his Bikini Bottom, I got a message on screen saying I could come back and look for buried treasure. I came back the next day, and guess what? No treasure at all. Now this isn’t a complaint but I thought I would say it anyway. Jelly. Now I have the family share thing and I can’t purchase jelly or coins, which makes it so I have to earn coins and jelly by scratch. Beside these issues, it’s truly the best spongebob mobile game on the market. Thanks in advance, Kienan_Gamer117
