Just downloaded this and I cannot wait until more people find it and start using it. It will definitely change the way I play golf as far as my social circle goes. Playing as a solo isn’t the worst but using this app takes the guessing and being nervous out of the equation. I can set my preferences on how I play and who I’d like to play with. I’ll definitely keep using it and I’m so excited to see this grow and becoming something amazing! Keep up the good work!

Great concept, lacks in practice

Love the idea, love the push they’re making to get more users, but there are major issues I have with it. Every time I open the app I have to reset my preferences. Location, filters, etc. There are not a ton of users so the ability to connect with groups is very centralized in the markets they have their “influencers” in. Any time I try to log on while not connected to WiFi I have to log out, close the app, and reopen and log back in and even then not everything will load properly even if I am connected to WiFi.Probably just bugs that need to be worked out but so far I’m left desiring more from it, hopefully as more users join and they receive actual feedback from real people, things can get fixed.

Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews. GolfLync is doing a give away for 5 star reviews. I love the concept but the app is not good. It’s not intuitive. There aren’t enough users. Setting your location isn’t really possible if you’re traveling but want to link up with people in your home area. There are a lot of spam accounts. There’s no “wall” on user profiles to view past content. Needs a lot of work. I hope they can improve it.
