Picture yourself viewing thousands of rooms for rent in flatshares from the comfort of your sofa. Imagine using your smartphone to visit 20 apartments for rent in just one hour. Now, all of this is possible - the hunt for housing has never been easier or safer.
We check properties so you don’t have to. We create listings that are so accurate that you can book your next home without having to visit it in person.
How does it work?
We send our Homecheckers to the properties that we list on our platform. The Homechecker takes high-quality photos, 360° images, accurate floor plans, and professional video tours of each property. Their material is then sent to our Copywriters who describe everything from the interior of the living room, right down to the vibe of the local neighbourhood. The end result is a virtual viewing that’s just as realistic as an in-person visit.
We know that it’s important for you to find the right landlord. That’s why we include practical information about landlord policies, utilities, tenant preferences and house rules. That way, landlords and tenants both know that they are the right fit for each other.

Awesome and easy to use service. Really good properties selected and checked by the company for a small amount of fee and peace for the mind
Sometimes the description of the fees involved with the rental can be confusing. But they are extremely important in estimating the total cost and can become frustrating for the user. It is sometimes unclear how much the admin fee is from landlord, whether or not utilities are included and how much the landlord will cover. Also it’s hard to know admin fee unless someone tries to go through the checking availability process. Would also be nice to have utility estimates.
The app sometimes seems to have small issues with displaying text, tapping on icon (like button and share button overlap and etc)z other than that, I

It’s been very helpful to find housing abroad ( USA to Spain) hasn’t crashed and easy to use. Definitely a plus to use when looking for and ideal place to live
DO NOT USE THIS APP, YOU WILL BE OPEN TO SCAMS.
Despite what they say, Spotahome won't protect you against dishonest landlords, it won't issue refunds or represent you in case of disputes. Scamming landlords will lie in the listings (don't trust the "Verified by Spotahome" label, it doesn't mean anything), will use tricks to prevent you from verifying the state of the apartment at the time of checkin, and no matter how much you document these issues with Spotahome during your stay, they will do NOTHING if a landlord decides to lie to keep part of even your whole deposit. Instead, Spotahome will protect dishonest landlords to the end, because they are the ones who have the properties that Spotahome wants to make money out of. Even if you decide to return the property early because of a bad experience, Spotahome won't refund you either. It's basically the perfect facilitator for dishonest landlords to scam tourists. PUT YOUR SAFETY AND YOUR MONEY FIRST, DON"T USE SPOTAHOME.
