SpotRacers - Car Racing Game 12+

This Game Has Unlimited Potential

I’ve been playing spot racer for just over two days and I think this game as a concept is every car enthusiasts dream. As a game it’s also very fun, has interesting challenges, and the friend races are very customizable. I like the animation style, and believe that for a mobile game the cartoony design is perfect most realistic car games (in my opinion) come off looking like they should just be played on pc or console instead. In terms of the future development of this game, I have no doubt there are plans to make changes and improvements along the way but I’ll write my suggestions here any way. 1. Generations/ trims of cars: Being able to differentiate between trims such as an Audi A5, S5, and RS5 as well as the different generations/ years of the car would really bring a lot to the game. Adding more in-game car models to show the cars we’ve spotted, when I spotted a Koenigsegg Agera one day I was disappointed to see that it fell under the ‘Stinger’ car model rather than its own but I assume that will change over time. If the game could actually put the color of the car spotted onto the car in game that would be a cool touch. Any way, this is a great game and I’m very excited to see wear it goes in the future!

With regard to future improvements of SpotRacers, we already have a huge roadmap, including a better and more detailed spotter experience and we will, of course, add more cars, tracks and features as we continue development. However, please be aware that we are a small and bootstrapped company of 7 people, so development might not go as fast as you expect🤗🚌🛻💨

fun game but…

this game is incredible don’t get me wrong i love the concept of racing cars that you see in the real world. My only problem is that there isn’t a ranked mode that starts from scratch and you have to unlock cars. I would like that because you would be able to build up your own garage and race to earn money to buy cars. Another thing i would find cool is a complete revamp of “CUSTOMIZATION.” it would be absolutely incredible to have a vinyl system almost like forza horizons. You could also make car parts (car decor) available to buy with cash but also allow things like under glow window tint and suspension travel. One thing that would be incredible is most definitely incredible would be a drag racing mode where you can drive any car but go in a strait line and have to shift at the right time. I hope you guys work on at least one of these, it would make my day. 📐 🚗💨

We do have a huge roadmap of additional features and content that we want to develop, but as our resources a limited we need to focus on making and testing very few features at a time. We do have quite a few features related to your requests on our roadmap, but to be transparent it will most likely require some patience before bigger features are released 🚌🚕🚑💨 Thanks again.

Great gameplay, iffy progression

The gameplay itself is quite fun to play. A minute to learn, but hours to master. The car customization is simple, but it’s enough for me. I do wish there were more ways to get cosmetics though, as it is very challenging to get first on the special races due to other players at your level having significantly faster cars than you for some reason.
One issue I have is with the number of tools vs gears you get. I have several cars already after not much play time that have 2-300 gears that I can’t touch, because you earn tools at a much slower rate, and upgrades can cost 15 gears, and 1500 tools. I wish there was something to do with all of the spare gears that I have, because at this rate, I will never be able to use them.

My other major gripe with the game is the daily missions. Most of them are absolutely impossible to complete due to where I live. The missions ask you to take pictures of specific manufacturers, some of which include Opel, Vauxhall, Skoda, and Renault. None of these manufacturers sell cars here in the states in any major capacity. It would be nice to have the missions factor in where you live and what cars are possible to find.
