This could be one of the best games of this type and at first it is. But the further you go into the game you absolutely cannot advance especially on the timed quests. You will HAVE to spend money. Too many things require keys and tools. Two different types of tools I should add. To get the tools you almost always have to have keys. Unfortunately the keys are not given out enough to open enough trunks to get the tools. So that is a no go. At first you can get quite a bit of energy relatively easily, but the further you get in the game it begins to require keys and tools just to get to the energy. Which means this is designed to get people hooked on the game and to be able to continue playing it is necessary to spend money. It is also is just frustrating when you need many as 25 keys just open a gate to get to the energy. Also having two or more timed events at the same time is also designed to make you spend more money, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. I personally am on SSI and because I like being able to complete as many facets of a game as possible, means I have already spent too much on this game. I am basically homebound so playing games is my main form of entertainment. SO, disappointing. I know you have to make money, but pricing games so that you have to be making a fortune in real money,that it leads me to believe that you don’t really care if people continue to play your game. Too bad. I would have played this game for a long time and spent some money, but it way too expensive now.

I like this game and it can be addictive and trust me when I say, the developers know it! They designed it to be addictive so they can get your money, and digging into your bank account, they do. You can start out with 2000 energy and not even get past one or two screens and it takes far more many times just to complete one quest. Then you got the main screen to keep up with and power to keep up with before you can even finish making an object. Sometimes you run out of time trying to fill the order on the plane because you needed just one more object, but your out of power. I’ve spent too much already on a game I’m getting absolutely no where.So in my response to the developers response, I very well know all the resources can be found in the game without purchasing anything, but you failed to respond to the fact that unless you spend your life in this game, you will run out of time trying to fill the orders. In programming it this way, we end up having to make purchases in order to get anywhere. Your blanket response purposely flys over this issue. Sometimes theses games feel more like a second job rather then a relaxing day/evening at home. Can end up more stressful then a lap full of unpaid bills and having to decide which ones are most important. Got enough of this in real life there’s days, don’t need to download more.

Not fun for long enough to keep

Sorry, losing interest. I had fun at first with the casual main missions and daily quests at the farm / mansion. Its just not enough variety to keep playing. After awhile the energy based gameplay just gets repetitive and impossible to complete. Not enough time to wait for the energy to be able to clear enough rocks to make 30 jars for syrup, Plus make cheese and or potatoes and butter for 15 sandwiches and growing 6hr crops in a day. Plus 15 sandwiches and by then, good luck passing the quests. Youd need to strategize how you're going to spend your time and energy. By then the challenge expires. The actual gameplay for passing missions or quests is just clearing bushes/rocks/trees to collect items and make things. It would be fun activities to do in real life eg. making homemade costumes, jars and jams. In the game, I can’t possibly collect enough time based energy to play the main mission as well as side quests, daily quests and airplane orders that expire too quickly. Without the paid subscription, you get 1 energy every 90secs. The lowest energy usage takes 15 energy to clear one item. You’d need to pick and choose which part of the game you wanna play or else pay ridiculous amounts of money to do something that'd be more fun to do in person. Im not talking about the tutorial, the actual game is just way too demanding with the characters asking for help and offering nothing in return.

If you have endless free time, patience, or money you may enjoy this. For everyone else who is just looking for a bit of low key entertainment during rare downtown here’s what you need to know. Here’s an idea of how much time and money each task takes: To make one glass bottle you need one glass + one cork, and it takes 15 minutes. To make one glass you need three sands + one coal= 22 minutes. To make three sands you need six stones and it takes four minutes. To get 6 stones you use about 20 ‘energy points’. To make one cork you need wood and grass, it takes 9 minutes. The game gives energy at one every 90 seconds and maxes out at 50ish. To get the tools needed to build the farm out you ship orders. Many of the orders require large quantities of items (9 glass jars) or items from the buildings not yet built so you have to either buy them (by buying fake money with real money)or reject the order and wait 5+ hours for the next one and hope it has the tools you need without requiring items you cannot produce and so on. The developers reply to peoples feedback on this is that the game is meant to be played slowly over a long period of time. I think most people will get so frustrated that they will either pay for an ‘energy subscription membership’ at $16 per month (one energy every 45 seconds up to the max at 50 or whatever) and/or buy the energy and fake money specials they sell or quit. The real goal of course is to get people to dump as much money as possible before they figure out it is a never ending money pit and quit.
