Squabbit - Golf Tournament App 4+

We just downloaded and used this app for a four-day golf trip with 26 players. We used a Ryder Cup format with team best ball matches each day. The app was utterly phenomenal! It tracked scores in real-time, gave updates on birdies, etc. and even kept track of our individual skins. It added a whole new element to an already fun event.

Tons of additional features too, keeping track of side bets and stats and we even used the chat feature to communicate dinner plans and other information instead of texting. Absolutely wonderful app with tremendous support!

I downloaded this app to see if it would work for an upcoming tournament. After I downloaded it, I received an email from Orrie, the creator of the app, to see if I had any feedback or suggestions. I wrote about a feature I would like to see added. He responded to my feedback in about 10 minutes, and then published an update to the app with the requested feature before our tournament. This will be the app I host any tournament on going forward and will recommend to all. It’s a great interface and will only keep getting better.

This is our second year using Squabbit. We searched high and low last year for an app that would let us run a team format for a multiple round golfing trip with 16 guys. Specifically we wanted to use Stableford scoring. The app is hands down the best we found. The real time score and alerts for things like birdies made the rounds even more fun and the group more connected. Further, when we’ve had a few questions on set up, the responses have been amazingly quick and helpful (thanks Orrie!!). I’d give it 6 stars if I could.
