Squabbit - Golf Tournament App 4+

I run a work golf league and through researching options for moving our league management solution out of labor-intensive Excel, we came across Squabbit.

Our format is 2-person team match play, and we were able to also add an additional individual stat tracking format, which folks are really enjoying.

One of the best features we are taking advantage of is the live leaderboard - we’re able to track progress of matches in realtime. It also means that we as league organizers don’t have to spend hours entering scores. It also handles handicap calculations and tracking very well, with GHIN and USGA index calculation integrated. We were able to enter previous years worth of data to take the handicap calculation going forward.

We needed to add a couple of features to manage pace of play and higher handicappers and Orrie and team were super responsive and added double par max score and pickup options to match play format. This reduced the amount of manual score manipulation we needed to do to ensure hole points were accurate.

The league members also enjoy the stat tracking and GPS functionality. Many of us have converted to using Squabbit instead our usual apps. They also post photos from their round that we will be using during our year- end league review.

This app has been transformative for our league and we’ll be using it for years to come. Thank you again Orrie and team!

Ollie has out done himself on this app. I was looking for an app for a golf trip and I found this GEM. Then I decided to try this for our weekend group. The experience was amazing, the live leaderboard and skins tracking was sweet. I listed the cost to play in the game and skins, checked everyone in on the app, checked that they had paid, defined how many places we were paying, what the percentage payout would be for each place, etc etc. As soon as the last group finished everything was calculated. AMAZING. So amazing I decided to start a yearly points total established a points per place, setup that we were paying the top ten for the year, defined the percentage payout by place, IT DOES EVERYTHING. Very little time required to manage the group, if they want to play they just register for whatever event they want to play in. Most of all IT IS EASY FOR ALL USERS. Thanks for creating I LOVE IT

Really happy Reddit lead me to this app. The fact that this app is free is baffling as generally speaking it has more features and functionality then most of the other paid popular golf apps out there. I used Squabbit to run our first annual Ryder cup formatted golf leauge this year with individual and team events, as well as a full golf leauge with team events and an individual fedex cup. The app worked flawlessly. I will say - there is a slight learning curve and it may not be the most intuitive app in the world, but if you dedicate just a bit of time to learn the in’s and outs, it really is a game changer.

Orrie and his team not only provide this app for free, but the service and customer support is better then any customer experience I have really ever had with any company - let alone a free app. All emails and inquiries are responded to generally within 12 hours, all by an actual person. Small bugs are fixed quickly, new features are always rolling out, and they have been very kind proactive from what I can tell to user feedback and feature requests.
