    Love this application for my clients. I’m a licensed esthetician, and the layout is dope. My clients can see all their past visits and rebook easily with no problems. I seen a review with 1 star, stating square is collecting customer info, but ever app is, and about clients being exposed to other artist?! If your not confident in your work and service, I understand why this app would be scary, but it’s not. Clients are mostly loyal and if you’re providing amazing service your reviews will speak for themselves, thank you square, I’ve been using you for over 5 years and exposing other businesses to your services is my fav!!! Keep up the amazing work and upgrades!! We are loving them over here!!

    Be sure to research these companies before moving forward. THIS is a 3rd party app and will require you to speak to the scammer, if scammed. Came across a “business” that had 500+ bookings, but required deposits via Apple Pay, CashApp, or cash. Anyone can book for free and not pay the deposit, essentially making the business look more reputable than it is. Only 3 reviews and none of the people left a comment. People can book a service, not attend it, and then leave a fraudulent review to help boost engagement. The scam is the actual deposit, potentially being charged a double deposit through whatever card you have on file.. and then you’re left to dispute with your bank AND the “business”. I’ve found other places on here that are reputable, but please please please be careful !! And only pay deposits using your credit card so these scammers can be properly investigated and reprimanded.

    I love the square app and have been using it for my business for years. of course i jumped at the opportunity to add my business profile to their app. the only thing that is bothersome was that I couldn’t remove my address from my profile without changing the backend address in the system for my business. It’d be nice if this were more like a facebook or social media type of thing where we can actually see the address/location to what we want. I provide my address 12 hours before a clients appointment bc i work out of my home like a lot of other people who use square. we don’t always want all of our info out there all the time. For that reason I removed my profile from the square go app until there’s a better way to edit my profile. thank you!

    I’m an esthetician and use Square for my salon business. All the positive points others have stated in their reviews are accurate, and I love the app for that. Where the app needs improvement is in the area of confirmations and reminders. I’m signed up for the (paid) square membership that allows you to send appointment reminders and confirmations (in addition to what’s included with the basic/free membership). I’ve found that any guest of mine with the app downloaded, no longer receives their reminders. This app has now lost me several hundred dollars worth of services due to no shows. It doesn’t feel right to apply a cancellation/no show charge to a guest that didn’t receive a reminder (even if it’s their responsibility to keep track of their schedule). I tell them to download SquareGo to make booking easier, which it does, but then they don’t get the reminders they depend on, and then I lose out of the money for that service when they don’t show up.I’ve contacted square customer service about this and all I ever hear is ‘thank you for the feedback, we will pass the information along to our app development team’. I never receive solid information on when a fix is coming or how to avoid the issue. Love the app, but I’m actively telling customers to delete it.

    Mr. D is an awesome barber to my 84 year old dad. My dad had an amazing barber back in NY. And when he moved to FL it was challenging to find him a barber that he would feel comfortable with. Mr. D has cut my hair in the past. I was well pleased with his hospitality and I noticed how he cared for the other elderly clients that came in for services. I made an appointment for my dad and they hit it off right from the start. The warm welcoming ambience at Mr. D shop is just what my dad was looking for. Mr. D I appreciate you for the kindness and patience you have with my dad and the way he smiles after he has been in your chair. Continued bless upon you, your family and your business.

    I’ve worked really hard as a business owner to get customers and provide a living for me and my family. Do not do business with Square. They are pretending to be a booking app but they are now promoting an app to MY CUSTOMERS, that I acquired, and promoting other competing Barber Shops to my customers that are booking directly on my website. I acquired my customers through word of mouth, one of the hardest things to do for a young business owner, just to have Square come in and start promoting the “SQUARE GO” app… an app that is no better than “BOOKSY”. They make you, the business owner believe that they are just here to be a calendar, but in reality they are just using you to steal your customers data and then undermine you as a business owner and promote other businesses to your customers. Trashy way to do business. Do not trust SQUARE.

    I tried many barbershops in search of one that provides a great experience: clean shop, friendly and capable barbers, and a great quality cut at a reasonable price. I found several that almost made the grade. It wasn’t until I had my first experience here that I knew I’d found “my place” and could end my search! After nearly a year of going here, I still feel the same way, and am confident to recommend them without any hesitation. Give them a try - it just might become “your place”, as well.

    Most barbers don’t have a website to book and they’re occasionally occupied at the moment when you call and the ones that do have a website it’s difficult to navigate or the website may be down. But with this!, it seems that I get a quicker response for my hair cut appointment and it sends a confirmation that my barber accepted it and if I need to reschedule there’s an option for that too! Very quick, easy and time saving!

    It is currently 11pm and I scheduled a 9:30am appointment for tomorrow on accident with one tap. It is past the cancellation window, and thus I am unable to cancel. Actions with consequences like this should not be so easy to make. I now must message my barber at 11pm, which they surely do not want. I would expect a confirmation button, or the ability to cancel appointments within a few minutes of making them.2nd, minor issue: I did message my barber, and an automated ai message said the the appointment from 3 months ago is already cancelled. Uh, great, thanks for that info. Perhaps don't let the AI comment on appointments so old.
